The unforgettable, attention-getting voice for you and your clients.

Unforgettable Voice Artist

Hello. I’m Jack Harte. I am a professional voice artist with more than three decades of experience in the industry. As a long-time Voice Artist and Broadcaster, my favorite thing is to say things into microphones. My voice slides from canyon-deep bass to a smooth, rich baritone. Click here to hear some samples. What sort of sound are you looking for? Regular Joe, aggressive, noble, melodic, humorous, dramatic, announcer, and many, many others… Contact me & let me know!

Casting Directors and Producers say Jack's Voice Is:

Powerful. Versatile. Directable.

Boston Born and Bred

In 1988, I did my first radio commercial at a studio in downtown Boston. We used magnetic tape and razor blades back then. Ever since, my voice has been heard conveying messages by way of radio and television commercials, training and compliance materials, telephone systems, and other commercial and industrial applications.
I have been the voice of Safety Insurance, radio and television commercials, and telephone applications for nearly twenty years. My voice has been heard on commercials for CVS, Boston Globe, TJMaxx, Professional Staffing Group, The Boston Bruins, and countless others. I've also worked on industrial projects for Marsh and McLennan Agency, Integrity Interactive, Super Tours, DCU Center, and more...
Hear me covering traffic and weather conditions, weekend overnights on WBZ-AM 1030, and on other iHeart radio stations and affiliates. From time to time, I am afforded additional on-air duties.

History of Voice Artists

The history of voice acting can be traced back to ancient Roman times. Voice artists were known then as “vox supra scaenicus.” In the days before broadcast and recording equipment, they would run from village to village, climbing to the highest points, and holler out copy, such as "Ficus et reducitur ad pecuniam - ad eos Nero's Emporium, sapore et viriditatem, quai!" (This approximately means, "Figs at reduced prices, at Nero's Emporium, the leader in flavor and freshness!")
Those who did the job well were in high demand, and they were easily identified by their loud, clear, distinct voices and legs like tree trunks.
